I have not read the forum in detail, but thought I would quickly add a comment. Unsure if you are using Fortherecord, but I had freezing issues when I installed ForTheRecord and upgraded to MP V 1.2.1.0. Within this I had Live TV stopping and stream issues which I just recently disgnosed to having "Argus" and MP activated under "Recorders / Tuners" causing a conflict. In the end I found you needed both options added but one unticked (I unticked the Argus option) You also need to reboot after the change.
I have also found a disk cleanup on the operating system seemed to help things and a registry cleanup ..... but this is Vista I'm talking about (been installed for 2 years now)
