Tv display not in Tv Section (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to have the Tv display show up while not in the TV area, much like a dvd or music is displayed in the lower left of the screen? Whenever I exit the Tv area it is stopped.

You need to have TimeShifting turned on for that to work.

Usually the next question is along the lines of "That's silly, why do you have to have TimeShifting turned on?"

Then the next answer is usually "That is the way the engine works".
