Hallo Team,

after setup a new system as a single HTPC with MySQL and TV-Engine 0230 RC1
and MP 0230 RC1 i observed jerking pictures by watching TV.
After a quick search i saw that the TV-Engine plugin starts automaticly the timeshift when i start the MP client.
And because the PC has to write the date to the disk and also show the film on screen i get the jerking pictures.

Questions:

1. How can i disable the start of timeshifting?

2. Why is the point "timeshift" removed with TV-Engine plugin?

I think that timeshifting can be done by each client itself.

Attached the LOGs from MP and TV-Engine.

regards
Grobi

    Hi,
TVE3 it's built up with timeshifting (streaming etc), you can't turn that off (if this it's going to change i dunno, but don't think so).

Why you have a bad picture I don't know, here the picture it's fine using either purevideo or mpa/mpv codecs.

    Regards

    Hallo,

any idea how i can troubleshoot this?

The problem is defintive relatet to the TV-Engine because when i use only MP it works fine.

CPU is around 10-20% and the system is only build to handle HTPC functions.

    regards
