Hello there!

I'm having major problems with my tv server
Its always the same problem. When I'm switching the channel, the client screen turns black and there is no more a/v.
Sometimes it helps me just to swich off TV on the client and swich it back on after a miute or so.
Sometimes it only helps to restart the TV Service on my server.

I had a close look at the log files on the client AND the server and all i found was that after such a "disconnect" the server error log contains always these few lines, which i find really funny because im neither using a Hauppauge card nor using Disecq.

28.08.2007 16:19:07 A Exception :Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

I ran memtest for like 2 days and it didn't find any problems.

My Client PC is an Athlon 2500+ with 512MB of ram and GeforceFX 5600 so i think the machine should be able to decode TV without any Problems.

My networ setup also can't be the problem because I'm using Gigabit Lan so there shuld be enugh resurces.

When i was setting up the TV server i did it first on the Client PC with a single Seat Setup which worked perfectly altough sometimes it was stuttering but i think this was a matter of the pc.

So when i set up the Server the only different thing is the x64 OS.
(I took the x64 version of the SQLexpress, Management Studio, Dotnet 1.0 1.1 and 2.0 and XML6)

Maybe the TV Server doesn't support 64bit OS, but i dont think so (Windows always shows the TVservice Process as an emulated 32bit app)

Please help

Please tell me if you need the comlete logs then i will upload them.
