I´m using a single seat installation .
My TV picture freezes when I change the channel (DVB-C) especial when changing from free to encrypted channels but not every time and not always when changing from free to encrypted . I have to switch the TV button in MP off/on and then mostly after 20 - 30 seconds the picture comes back.
I tried several SVN so far but this special issue appeared again and again.

Another Problem I expirence today is that I can´t view a single encrypted channel, but Yesterday evening it worked fine. I´m not sure if this is a MP problem too.

Does anyone got advice for me?

I´ve added the loggs.

I have this issue on when using Vista 32bit, under XP all is fine...same config under Vista and DBS-S locks on the last frame of current channel on channel change...toggle TVOn to get it back...most of the time.

The odd this is the TVserver does change the channel and using VLC or Mplayer you can view the current buffer which has displays the channel you just changed to.

You may want to check if this problem is the same and would also guess you would need to supply the MP logs as well as the tvserver logs as my gut feeling is that this may be more of a TVClient than TVserver issue.

Again, my issue was related only to vista and have no problems with XP but the symtoms are the same.

Maybe anyone of you having this problem should try if the problem exists also with tsreader as the tsfilesource.ax is know to be buggy. Read the sticky thread No 1 to get further details.

When having problems with encrypted channels you could also try to change your CAM settings to MULTI/DYNAMIC
SINGLE/DYNAMIC MULTI/STATIC /SINGLE/STATIC

Can you give me some help with this ?
* create a text file on c: called useTsReader.txt on the PC where you watch TV
* watch tv, recorded tv and play *.ts files in MyVideo

Maybe its to simple for me .
MY MEdiaPortal is installed on d: should´t I copy this file to the MP folder?
Just an empty TXT file ? HÄÄ?

The correct place for that text file (empty file is enough) is "c:\useTsReader.txt" no matter where the MediaPortal mayb e installed. Also its working only if you are using TVE3.
