as my system has a SSD, where the OS and main programs will be stored, i first tested MediaPortal on one of the HDD. to save write times to the SSD. when i was happy with MP and the plugins etc, i decided to go for it and install everything onto the SSD.

im new to the SSD's and after reading up on the drive, i decided to follow this guide "HERE". as (again) i wanted to limit the times things were written to the SSD....therefore, prolonging its life.

but since installing everything, i have noticed some slight difference in MP and the plug-ins. the main problem for MP, is when i try and view a TV Channel (after selecting it from the EPG), the screen freezes. the only way i can exit MP, is to open "Task Manager" end close it from there. it states in "Task Manager" that MP, is not responding. the audio is also not responding. but as soon as i close MP, the audio goes back to normal.

thinking that i had done something wrong during the initial win7 and MP install, i decided to reinstall everything. win7 etc. but this time, im having some trouble getting fanart for my movies and tv. and i still get the TV freezing.

i have attached the logs that was generated when i forced MP to shutdown.

im thinking, that following the SSD guide, has somehow messed up MP or something. any suggestions on what i should do?

***UPDATE***
i have found a temporary fix for this problem.

i first updated MP to 1.2.2 and tried again. still had the same problem. i then re-installed the TV card driver. this somehow fixed the issue. although, live tv does hang a bit before changing to the new channel. but it works now :)
