TV Guide broken: "Missing Label" after upgrade from 1.2.2. to 1.3 (1 Viewer)

I get an empty TV guide with the "missing label" message after an upgrade from 1.2.2 to 1.3 on a Windows 7 system. I use XMLTV to update the program guide. Do I need to completely uninstall and start from scratch?

the tv guide data is wiped when u upgrade, so u need to "fill in the blanks" as it were
