TV guide channel numbers in MP2 (1 Viewer)

Please inform more details. Which version do you use, which skin and which theme?

Please install the latest available version (MP2.1 Prerelease 2) and use any skin beside default to see the channel numbers. The default skin is not concepted for every day usage, but as fallback in case of issues.

I recently did a fresh install of 2.5 on a new Windows 11 PC. My previous (Windows 10) version of 2.5 gave my broadcast TV channel...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
