TV guide disappeared (1 Viewer)

Hi there , during last 4-5 days TV guide contents disappeared.
I have MP 0.2 RC4 with latest SVN .
WebEPG downloads 1 Mb datas but in MP TV guide is empty.
Tried all SVN from last 4-5 but same probs.
Anyone has solutions or suggestions ?

F3 import gives me an error that i didnt remember now ( not @ home now)
But didnt F3 import XML grabber?
Thought Web EPG will downlad guide elaborated by XMLTV..
Am i wrong?
Strange is that some TV chans shows guide only on OSD but not in listings..

I had the same problem some days ago. The error I had was because the grabbing for one channel (tv5) changed due to changes in the webepg grabbers or something. Please have a look at the logs folder if it contains a file webepg_error.log. There wepepg reports when grabbing for channels fail. Then start webepg-conf.exe and remove or change the grabber for that channel.

Although grabbing for one channel fails webepg seems to write some information to the xmltv file. If it is imported to mp you see that some channels are imported but after some time an error occurs and all data is erased from the program guide. If you try to import manually afterwards you get an error message (something with index...).

I think there is one bug in webepg and one bug in mp. Webepg should write a correct xmltv file although there is an error. And mp should skip channels with errors when importing the data.

I noticed another problem too. I have setup a serial recording (monday - friday). And this serial recording is ignored when there is no data in the mp program guide.

Hopefully James can confirm this and solve these issues.

Please be patient. James will have a look at it when he is around again. For now you can delete these channels out of the webepg-config so that at least the others are imported. Or look if there is another grabber for these channels. Perhaps there was only a small change.

Bavarian just fixed a bug which allows importing the TVGuide.xml correctly again ;-)
