    Hi,

With SVN 13411 and TV Engine SVN 13413 (and earlier versions for the last week or so) I get nothing in the TV guide.

This is with a fresh install every time, and channels are enabled for TV grabbing. I have left all other settings at the default. The TV cards (both on the Nova-t 500) are tuned and working. It should be grabbing TV guide data from the DVB stream.

This is with a single seat configuration. Clicking on "refresh epg" doesn't help.

    Server log files are attached.

    Does anyone else see this?

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Hi,

Is anyone able to reproduce this? With TV Engine SVN 13461 and MediaPortal 0.2.2 + SVN 13463 I am still seeing the same. Information in log files is exactly as above.

Are there any other users in the UK with DVB cards and using the EPG info from the DVB stream? If it is working for you, does it work with the default settings, or did you need to change anything? If it isn't working for you, another data point would be nice.

TV Engine 3 is coming on in leaps and bounds now. The EPG did work for me. I recently bought the Nova-t 500, so this is the only hardware change. I also have a nova-t 500 in my main HTPC, and it is fine with the EPG in the old TV engine, so I guess it is not likely to be the nova-t drivers.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Working fine for me, changed the timeout to 15 under general settings, as previously had a problem with the standard 12 as discussed in another thread.

PS you should use same release numbers for TVE3 amd MP svn, otherwise any bugs you have may be of your own doing.

I have Nova 500 also and had your problem. Changed timeout to 12 and refresh to 120. Works o.k now. My main problem with listings and jerky tv was that I had and amplifier in line with the aerial. Removing this showed lower signal but better quality. Problem is solved now. I can confirm that these cards work fine if your setup is right.

    Hi,

Thanks to both of you for the comments. I will try making the changes and report back.

I did know about using the same version numbers, but when I went to download, the numbers were mismatched, so I downloaded the latest of each.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

    Hi,

Changing timeout to 12 and refresh to 120 fixes the problem.

Would there be any harm in having these as the default settings?

    Best wishes,

    Mark

None that i have seen, but remember this is still beta and sometimes what works for one, may not work for all.

More reports of problems with step by step reproducible instruction and logs always gratefully welcomed.
