I recently upgraded from 0.2.3 to 1.0 rc4. the overall switch was very smooth, and the new skin looks great. However the TV is having a problem.

When i start playing a channel it works fine for 5 - 10 minutes then the playback freezes. Mediaportal itself doesn't freeze. I can even turn off the TV playback and turn it back on it it works for another 5-10 minutes. This is obviously very annoying. It does this on all the clients in the house so its not just this machine. I've tried switching a few settings with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Mediaportal for over a year now and i would like to thank everyone who has helped out on this project.

I get this problem, it happened in RC3 and now RC4 for me too, but if you change channel, does the problem happen again?, because for me it wouldn't have the problem until I restarted media portal.
My system is alot newer than yours too and i'm using a Dvico digital\analog card, but only using the digital bit.

I'm not exactly sure how i fixed this but, I tried first to update my video card driver. after that i kept getting an error message when trying to turn on tv. I was something like can't start timeshifting No video/audio detected. well then i switched the default timeshifting size from 512 to 1024 and it started working. I was playing around with so many different settings that i can't say for sure thats what fixed it, but at least its working now!
