Hi,

I'm using XMLTV with MediaPertal for few years now (using MyTV 0.2 plugin) and it worked fine
Lately I upgrated to 1 RC2 and installed TV server. And I troed to setup XMLTV in tv server
The problem is, it seems TV server imports correctlty TV channel names together with channel icons (logos ) but does not import any program.
tvguide.xml is aboiut 4 MB, with programs grabbed for 7 days, and I can see programs info when I open it in IExplorer

I attach the tvguide.xml and a screeshoot from TVserver setup, xmltv plugin, where you can see it imported 64 channels but no program.
Should I send any logfile for developers to figure out what could happen?

Thanks for help.

Bogdan

In the xmltv plugin configuration, you have you to go to the mapping tab do the mapping AND save the mapping. I took me quite a while to figure this out.

    Hope that works.

(I don't have 1.0.0.0 running at the moment so I can't double check, I do this from memory, the tab name may be different)

    TV server and xmltv

    Hi,

    Thanks, that worked.
I didn't thought about this, as it wasn't needed in MyTV plugin (there it had to have the channel name as the name received in xmltv file
Although the approach in TV server offers greater flexibility.

    :D

PS. Maybe you can help me with this too: Is there any possibility to use hauppauge ir blaster in TV server? It worked very well with hauppauge plugin in MyTV, but it TV Server I find only Microsoft and something else (SMK!?), and I cannot make it work with my hauppauge ir blaster. Thanks

For IR blasting did you use the IR server plugin. If not not have a look at that.

I'm using HIP (google HIP byremote) together with the 'message' plugin for the MCE blaster. But only to control my amplifier (on/off, volume up/down and mute)

The message plugin was made by AND81 just like IR server. IR server has replaced the message plugin and is much more advanced. I have not used IR server just because I'm still on 0.2.2.0 for day to day usage.

Excuse my ignorance, but is IRServer a plugin for mportal? Can you send me a link where to find it?
    Thanks

Yes. It's a plugin. I beleive however that it is not in the download section. It also seems that AND81 has taken some (well deserved) time of from developping it. It is not clear if the latest version is fully functional on RC3. You can find it here:

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-165/ir-server-suite-version-1-0-4-1-a-33512/

I'm still in the process of setting up an RC3 installation and I need IRserver to work with that. But it is not straight forward, slow and painful.

I got my RC3 running as from today including the IRserver for my HP MCE remote and Logitech Z5500 blasting. Works like a charm.

In the second tab of XMLTV config, once you hit "Load/Refresh", and all my channels are displayed, why do they have a red indicator next to them? I assume something isn't matching up correctly. This in turn causes my "import" in the first tab of XMLTV config to import zero programs. Has anyone else encounterd this? Could it have something to do with the appropriate timezone? I did name all my channels the same as what Zap2It shows (for my zip code location and cable provider). Thanks.

    I'm running RC2 and WinXP.
