Hi all

I have a Medion BDA DVB-S Tuner. So far, all versions of TV server 3 have worked nicely for me. The last version that worked was the one of September 10. 2007. Now I wanted to give a newer version a try. However, the version of Octoner 29 does not find ANY channel when scanning for channels. All scanned transponders show "no channel found". when I deinstall everything and start over with the older version of September 10, about 500 channels are found immidiately. what can be the problem? I did not find any hints in the logfiles.

Axel

PS: during scanning, signal quality and signal strengths are 100%

Yes there seems to be a problem with a code change at the moment, seems not to be working for a few people, including me.

Hopefully it will be sorted in the next few releases.

Hey it is Beta, and potential improvements in the code may break something, and i'm sure the relevant Dev's are trying to find out which combination of code, is not doing what it's supposed to.

Which when fixed will benefit everyone.

    Cheers

yeah sure I know its beta.Im not complaining. Just wanted to know whether I am the only one with this prob :)
btw: I suddenly realized that I get another problem (with an older version which worked quite well for some time): for some channels I get no picture on TV! The stream is recorded well though. Currently, I get around this problem by recording the channel which does not work an watch the stream through VLC simultaneously. But of course, this is nothing for the long run :) any hints what this could be? It only happens for a handful of German channels (Pro7, Kabel1, ZDF).
