Team,

My configuration (Client/Server) takes an awful lot of time to start LiveTV @ the Client after I first run Mediaportal on the Client (PC Start).

See line 3:

[2016-01-16 12:07:58,388] [Log ] [25 ] [INFO ] - audio last seen at 16.01.2016 12:07:58
[2016-01-16 12:08:01,275] [Log ] [43 ] [INFO ] - ChannelStates.DoSetChannelStates took 2990 msec
[2016-01-16 12:08:01,428] [Log ] [35 ] [DEBUG] - Debug: SSDPClientController: Problem parsing incoming multicast UDP packet. Error message: 'Invalid HTTP header line '''
[2016-01-16 12:08:31,638] [Log ] [35 ] [DEBUG] - Debug: SSDPClientController: Problem parsing incoming multicast UDP packet. Error message: 'Invalid HTTP header line '''
[2016-01-16 12:08:46,382] [Log ] [35 ] [DEBUG] - Timeshifting stopped - Recordings=0 TimeShiftingActive=False
[2016-01-16 12:08:46,383] [Log ] [35 ] [INFO ] - Controller: StopTimeShifting 3

After I stopped LiveTV and I start again: the start is much faster and I do not see the 3 lines in the LOG anymore:

[2016-01-16 12:05:52,505] [Log ] [25 ] [INFO ] - audio last seen at 16.01.2016 12:05:52
[2016-01-16 12:05:55,236] [Log ] [57 ] [DEBUG] - Timeshifting stopped - Recordings=0 TimeShiftingActive=False
[2016-01-16 12:05:55,237] [Log ] [57 ] [INFO ] - Controller: StopTimeShifting 3

What means:
[2016-01-16 12:08:01,275] [Log ] [43 ] [INFO ] - ChannelStates.DoSetChannelStates took 2990 msec
[2016-01-16 12:08:01,428] [Log ] [35 ] [DEBUG] - Debug: SSDPClientController: Problem parsing incoming multicast UDP packet. Error message: 'Invalid HTTP header line '''

Any Ideas?

Thanks for your help
Mike

    Hello Mike

All of the log entries that you have quoted and/or asked about are irrelevant for your problem.

If you would like to receive help, please attach full log files from both the client and server.

Use the supplied Watchdog tool with option 1 ("report a bug to Team MediaPortal") to reproduce the problem and collect the log files from the client.
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/3_Forums/2_Log_Files

After that, zip all the server log files, and attach ("upload a file") the 2 zip files here.

If you do not provide the log files then I'm sorry to say that there's nothing I can do to help you.

    Best regards,
    mm

Thank you for the log files Mike

Please try to disable the IPv6 protocol on the client's network interface, then reboot and try again.
