First of all, I'm a beginner in the forum so I apoligize if I did not find the answer in the forum.

My tv-server seems to be turned off somehow after installing new video codecs. I installed the coreavc h.264 and also a TsReader -file, which was supposed to fix problems when switching between sd and hd. I believe that this latter tsreader now causes problems. When turning on MyTV the screen is just black and no sound comes through either.

I am not sure which log file you need to help me but I attach the error.log.

Looks like the TsReader.ax is not registered on your system. Please use regsvr32 tsreader.ax from command promt, in the MP folder (where TsReader.ax file is located). Also the current SVN should contain all needed fixes in the TsReader.ax.

    Code:
    HRESULT: 0x80040154 (2147746132)
    Name: REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG
    Description: Class not registered

I have already registered the tsreader.ax as you describe. However, I downloaded a new tsreader.ax and I believe that the problem started after registering that version. How do I download and install the current SVN?

Thanks for your help. I did, however, reinstall MP and now everything is fine.

    MP does not recognize TV-card

Yesterday and this morning everything was fine. During the day the computer was on and when I came home does recognize the card but in the TV Server Configuration the type of the card (Cinergy C PCI) is "unknown". The card is properly installed with latest drivers. I also ran the dvbfix (which is supposed to fix the PsisDecd.dll and mpeg2data.ax) from C:\ where it still is located. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool shows, however, that the versions of the files still are 6.05.2600.2180

What can the problem be? I attach lof files. Big thanks for any help!

Forget the last post - now screen is just black

I registered the TsReader.ax and now the tv-card is regognized properly in the tv-server conf. However, now I'm back at the problem described in my very first post, i.e. the screen is just black.

Server is not using the TsReader for any card related stuff, so it must be something else that fixed the card detection.

OK. In the TV Server Configuration I can preview any channel perfectly. But then when I open MP there is no TV picture nor sound. And on the left side the "TV on" is not activated and cannot eithe be activated.

Even though I've updated the Psisdecd.dll the TV-Server Config. still says it has too many bugs.

Have you got the TVServer client plugin installed.

You can easily tell, because in the TV module with MP running it has a TVStreams button.

BTW, MP + TVServer + TVServer client plugin all need to be from the same svn download.

Yes, there is the TVStreams button in the TV module. And I did a complete re-installation of MP + TVServer (and TVServer client plugin as well I believe) on Wednesday.
