TV Server DVB-IP CHannel Scan (1 Viewer)

Hello.I'm from Slovenia and using the already added t-2 provider.
The channels tv server is getting are in the following format:
udp://10.14.10.28@239.15.1.12:5000
if i try to use this address in vlc...it does not work.And it does not work in mediaportal either.(the tv scan from t-2 worked in the previos version).
If i use the address like this : udp://@239.15.1.12:5000 in VLC...it works.
So my question is...how do i remove the 10.14.10.28 in the tv scan in media portal tv server.
Or how do i make it work with this setting?

Ah never mind...forgot about the c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbip\ folder

New Problem:
After updating the m3u file i ran the channel scan.It finds almost all the channels.
But...it doesn't show them all.So even if the channel is found (added or updated after second scan)...i cannot see that channel in the channel list.
Any idea why this would be happening? The channel works(tested with VLC) and was also noticed during scan.It is also a free channel so there's no scramble problems there.

Could you please post your TV Server scan logs so that I can check what is happening.

1. Open TV Server configuration.
2. Click "open log directory" in the top left corner.
3. Zip up all the files that you find there.
4. Post the zip file here.

Unfortunately i did a silly thing...deleted the logs before my last attempt(i was sure it was going to fail again and wanted the logs to be small and contain just that...)
i cleared the channel list and ran the scan again.only this time i didn't use groups.And bang...50 more channels listed in the allchannels view.So there could be an issue with the way the channels are stored when using groups.
Maybe i'll clear them up again and see if that's the case as soon as i have the patience to wait for the scan to complete twice
But this issue did happen on a clean installation of MediaPortal (used the remove all settings and files before installing the new version).Also reinstalled mysql...so it was clean clean clean.

I've checked the code and I can't see anything wrong. It is a little difficult for me to test though since I don't have access to DVB-IP. If you are able to reproduce the problem again then please by all means post logs and I'd be very happy to look into it.

I have somekind the same problem. I installed mediaportal and for couple days tv server worked. Than one day i had a "blue screen" and system rebooted, since than the tv doesn't work in mediaportal. I the Tv configuration it looks like it works if i scan chanells they are found and it looks like it works. But when i start media portal and under "watch TV" i turn on tv just nothing works and when i click on "Channels it's like it MP freezes a little.

I tried to reinstall MP (i had ver. 1.2.1) to 1.2.2 but still the same problem. I use external player(GOM player) for watching (because i have 4:3 TV) but when i was testing TV server i had always set to default player.

Log is in the attachment if somebody could tell me why the TV server stopped working. Thanks, Bye.

Hi,

do you have some radio channels? If yes, can you check in Radio section of TV configuration if you have 'All Channels' group?

I checked Radio Channels in TV Server Configuration (Preview option and they play OK) when i try under TV Channels the channel doesn't play it only shows a screenshot. Any idea what could be wrong ?

Thanks i managed to fix it somehow. Now the Tv works. I just add a playlist with all channels to radio section and then whe itried it suddenly worked. Now i have 2 more questions if someone can help. Can you use the default player for Tv section and external player for Movies and Tv series ? Is it possible , And how can i set the channels like they are on my STB. I mean on my iptv STB there are some channel numbers missing like on the numbers 20,21,22 there are no channels so when i want to watch the channel that is on my IPTV STB on number 23 i have to type in Mediaportal 20 which is kind a disturbing.

If anyone can help me with some solution ? Thanks
