First of all: half a million thanks for your support in almost lightspeed!
    You're welcome. :)

Hmm, the only idea that I have where the second card comes from: On changing to MP 1.4 I imported the channels and so on from an export I made from within TV server config.
Can it be? The Nova card is a defect PCI card that I had almost a year before...
Hmmm, I've checked the code and I don't think it is possible for TV Server to import cards. It will import/update the card settings if the card exists in the [new] server, however it does not create or delete cards.

After removal from the server setup conflict managment is back.

    Thanks a lot!

    Excellent - enjoy! :)

This is an interesting thread... I have recently witnessed some strange behaviour relating to tuner cards.
I have 2 x DUAL DVB-T cards in my server. When i noticed that some shows were not being recorded i started to investigate.
Upon looking at TV Server configuration, i noticed that there were some extra tuners added to the list but were labelled as "unknown" and ticked as active. WTF?!?!?!
I have no idea how this happened, but in order to set things right, i uninstalled and reinstalled MP on the server. A month later, so far so good.. But i will admit/agree that since version 1.4 and up, MP has been unstable and behaving strangely... Thinking of downgrading back to 1.3.1 but i need the HDMI fix introduced in 1.4 ... :(

Are these USB tuners ? (some PCI tuner cards are actually USB devices in hardware terms).

PS - please fill out and enable your system specs....

Basically what happened is for some reason Windows decided it had detected that your tuner was a new device and allocated it a new identifier. As a consequence, TV Server also thought the tuner was a new tuner and added a new instance in the tuner list. This is a known issue insomuch as we've seen it before. In fact, the same thing happens occasionally with my USB tuner - possibly when I add new USB devices for the first time. Unfortunately this behaviour is out of our control so we can't directly fix it. Working around it would also be really difficult as we have no fool-proof way to match the old tuner details with the new tuner details...

    Basically: blame Windows.
