I'd use memtest86 for that. In my experience it is quite easy to mess up the seating on some motherboards. If you're lucky, this will be the problem and you'll be back in business quickly.Otherwise, next step would be testing the CPU. When I built my PC back in ~2006 I'd have used Prime95 and similar for this. I'm not sure what people use these days...</blockquote>
