They should - but the user account used is the main admin account, so that's not fully clear to me. Maybe a standard security thing on server OS.Ahhhh. Drivers must be installed with admin privileges. If your normal user account isn't admin that might explain it.
Anyway, TV-Server can be started manually, or starts when calling the config, so that's something that can probably be resolved. Maybe the SQL database is not yet reachable when TV Service starts for the first time. I will need to dig deeper into this.I wonder if this is [also] a permissions or user account issue. There is nothing else that springs to mind as a potential cause.

I did explicitely install MePo TV Server with the "Run as Administrator" option. Setuptv has no issues, it's the service itself that would not start when booting. Now, how often would you reboot a server?Perhaps, I think setuptv requires admin privileges for me, I just happen to be local and domain administrator![]()
