Did that however this stops me streaming to other clients, when I change the RTSP fails when I Change back all is well...

 Obviously, as the above procedure is only for a single seat installation. One asks a solution when the router/hub isn't connected and therefore there is no network. Streaming won't work because no a network is present :)

I should explain a bit better. On My server PC it is connected to my main TV in the lounge. However I also use the pc to Stream TV to my PC in the back room to avoid the wife's programmes ;) So I need a multi seat solution. Is there anyway to avoid this annoying situation where the WIFI connection drops out on the server without disabling multiseat.

    try the loopback device.....

    Hi pigboy306,

try the loopback device (it is just software) as suggested above. When the Lan connection is active it works in your back room, however the server itself (and the tv in your lounge) will also work without the lan.

    regards

How strong is your wireless signal to your lounge?. Are you getting disconnected every now and then? Try repositioning your router closer to your TV server if possible. Otherwise, you may need a repeater to extend your wireless range.

I have an N router so signal strength is not a problem. I do have problems disconnecting every now and then though

When your signal degrades from "very good" to "low", you will experience drops at your TV server.
I'm no wireless expert but usually repositioning your router or server will improve the signal strength. Opening your door to your room may improve things too. :)
