TV Server Plugin: TvWishList (4 Viewers)

Hi Huha

It doesn't seem like this works on Titan simply because the skin files are missing. (It tries to but screen tend to be, shall we say, 'abbreviated').

On DefaultWideHD on the home screen the buttons are misaligned - not just on this, so I know it's not limited.

Is there a reason it won't work with Titan. (Actually I theme Titan to make it closer to Default - it's far too colourful and confusing for us otherwise!)

I am not able to support the different skins. You need to contact the skin developer for supprting TvWishlist.

I think in the Titan skin thread there are skin files made a 3rd party there just need to download and copy to the relavent folders.

Does TV Wish List has its own database?
Does it get backed up in the tv server export section?
If a show has been recorded and is a bad file or something, how can you record it again? or how can you edit the database?

Cam,
TvWishlist uses the tvserver database in the settings section. You can use my BackupSettings plugin to export/import the settings. i believe it is not done in the export section.
If yiu just want to delete a bad record there are simpler ways:
- you can delete in the tv server plugin all messages
- in the result section of the plugin you can filter messages and delete the one with the defect file by filtering recordings

I installed this on my MP2 Client/Server.
Love the installer.

When I went to start the MP2 Client, I got the MP2 splash screen but never got the Home screen.
The client logs always stopped with

When I decided to remove the plugin, the installer does not Stop the MP2 Server process and errors while trying to delete the plugin from
c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service3\Plugins
I had to stop the process and manually delete the plugin.

Pretty sure this plugin is for mp1 only but huha is working on a mp2 one, this is one of the things I'm waiting on to be available before I give mp2 a try myself.
