thanks! I updated the version number of the mpei file. I am planning another release this week end.

Folks,
i have released 1.2.1.3 which mainly provides bug fixes.
Due to a bug in the name folder renaming you will have to do a data base update if you have used the name folder option
To do that start the Tvserver Configuration, goto "Recording" -> "database Import" and remove invalid entries and afterwards import new entries. You need to repeat this step for all your recording folders at the top.


Version 1.2.1.3 released on 01.November.2011
- bug fix: day could not be selected in MP plugin if language was set to German
- bug fix: after saving TvWish defaults were displayed in English even if language was set to German
- bug fix: deleting a TvWish from the edit window did not work
- bug fix: when renaming to name folder after a recording the changed path in recordings has not been saved - need to rerun tvdatabase import in setuptv
- bug fix: emailed schedules are not getting deleted after scheduled time was reached
- bug fix: during recording movies, messages must not be created due to capitol letters in title and description. This did
create duplicate messages
- bug fix: name folders: special situation could occur where renaming was tried during recording
- bug fix: name folder from Tv wish list name was not shown in recordings
- bugfix: xml file must not be updated after moving file to names folder
- changed translation name for name folder to tv wishlist name
- filter all added on view window
- filter none added on view window
- include in recorded message the file size after the file path

ok, than i have to go everytime out of mepo in the settings from tv server and update the database ? Hm thats not so good i think, can i switch off that tvwishlist generate folders.

In mepo on the extensions plugin i cant see the update... do you forgot to at this info, or is that a problem from extensions ?

the older versions did not update the new file name in the recordings for a new tv wish folder. This version will do that. So the data base import has to be done only once for the old recordings. Sorry for that inconvenience. After this has been done once there is no need to repeat this step.
I expect the mepo installer needs a day to get the update from the plugin page.

Hm i have to talk to the extensions plugin creator, i cant see any of the new versions since 1.2.1.0 ... Hm i shut down the htpc only in s4. And im allways in MePo and not on windows to open the extensions installer, that update the list.

Ok when i look at Windows Extensions Installer, there was the update but not in MePo. When i go back to Mepo there is the update to. When i install this over the extensions plugin inside mepo, the update hangs by 100%... When i kill the process, there is the window accept or disagree... Is this a bug from your site or an bug from the installer plugin ?

Has someone the same prob ??

Hi,

Whenever I install a new version of this plugin, I find I have two entries in the list in MediaPortal Extension Installer. This remains until I can do an update to the same version from the repository.

Is there something wrong in the mpei file that makes it think it is different to the one downloaded from the repository? Which file do I need to look at to troubleshoot this?

Problem scheint immer dann aufzutreten, wenn ich als "match type": ''partial text/title'' ausgewählt habe. Meine Vermutung: Die EPG-Beschreibung für die Sendung ist leer, darum dann die exeption?!

außerdem habe ich das Problem, dass obwohl ich eingestellt habe, dass er nur 3 Folgen behalten soll (keep episodes = 3), mehr aufbewahrt werden.Bei 3 oder mehr Aufnahmen wird die älteste nicht gelöscht, sondern die alten bleiben einfach erhalten und die neue Aufnahme kommt einfach dazu (eingestellt für: RTL Nachtjournal) [siehe log].

Wäre toll, wenn du mir weiterhelfen kannst, huha

D3ltoroxp, I was not able to follow your steps. can you describe in more detail. Are you referring towards installing with the mpei plugin versus the Windows mpei standalone installer?

elliottmc, I am not seeing that i am doing anything wrong here and i think we need the help from ltfearme. For a new version i am copying the .xmp file to a new folder and change only the version number and the source file paths in the xml file with a script. Then i am clicking on built. I have not changed or blanked the url for the TvwishList.update.xml from Mepo (may be that is the problem?).
I can recreate the issue by installing first two versions without the online installer list just by double clicking on the .mpe1 file. i did this for 1.2.1.1 and 1.2.1.2 . Then I downloaded with the mpei installer the online list and the installer shows two versions to update.

Update: i just tried to blank the online location of the update.xml file and the online location of the .mpe1 file, but still the same effect. I have attached the .xmp files at googlecode

bugmenot, thanks to your posting i found two bugs and have provided a testversion on your issue 1). Please try.
On 2) i checked your settings and they are correct. It should work. Do you see under "Schedules" -> Episodes to keep the number 2?

I checked it. Yes, it says "Episodes to keep" == 2 inside that menu (see screenshot).
So this is a bug inside MP and not in your plugin?
