Update: Ben, if the EPG data change the episode name, the plugin will not reschedule. This may be an item for future work.
I was not able to customize the MP plugin name, which has been asked for before.

    Thanks for that.
I think I can get around the epg data changing by setting all of the wishes for <7 days. Then the epg should be accurate.
It'd be nice to include all currently scheduled messages in the whole process at some point though. Then you know you are only removing schedules that haven't been added manually via MP TV plugin. Perhaps that requires some way of storing which wish created a particular message, so that you know to delete a schedule only if it doesn't match that wishes criteria any more (as opposed to a wish that has since been deleted). Not a basic change, I guess.
But I am sure that is for another day! In the meantime I am happy knowing they are working the way they should be. I realised today that I haven't used the MP TV plugin to record anything except single films for about 2 months...

    Version 1.2.2.0 released on 16.February 2012:
    Hi huha,
tried to uninstall (because of a confusion in versions); looks like the installer/uninstaller does have a small problem when not using the default paths. My program path is D:\Programme... instead of C:\Programme....
    The fault message while uninstalling:
    Error: Uninstall TvWishList caused exception
Ein Teil des Pfades "D:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\NOT DEFINED\language\TvWishListMP" konnte nicht gefunden werden.
I deleted manually, so all ok, I just want to mention the message.
BTW: I wanted to add any logs for the installer, but did not find it  . Where they are?
    Cheers
    Alfred

Edit: I just realized that the installer does have the same (or similar) problem:
    ...language directory copied to
    NOT_DEFINED\language
The path was definitely defined correct, the next log-line is
    TvWishList.pdf copied to
    D:\Programme\Team Mediaportal\Docs\TvWishList.pdf

    Ben, Alfred,
thanks for your postings. The installer was a bug and will be fixed in the next version.
The installer does not create entries in the log file. So far all issues could be identified from the text box.
I am also working on additional improvements as described by ben and a plugin API so that other plugins can create new tv wishes. Of course it will take some more time.

    Hi net explorer,
you have to go to the tvserver configuration to tvwishlist -> formats and disable Conflicts and Records. Only Emails should be checked.

    Hi,
I have a problem with the recording of the series. For series I have a own folder, but the recording which are scheduled bei TvWishList, are stored in the normal recording-folder.
What can I change, that the scheduled Series by TvWishList are stored in the Series-folder

    Hi Kasselhöfer,

if you want your Series in there own folder you must select "Episodes" in the Main tab. It's nearly at the end of each line.
