    Hi huha,
Second; i record many series and i use TVMovie EPG import++ and episodescanner to find series- and episodenumber. After recording i cut my recordings and store these at an external drive as *.avi-file. In MediaPortal i use the TVSeries-plugin. Is it possible to build in a function, that compare the epg-data e.g. "Polizeiruf 110 (4.7 Das Inserat)" with the TVSeries-data "04 07 Polizeiruf 110 - Das Inserat" and if the episode is available, TVWishList will ignore the epg-entry and does'nt mark this for email/record?

    Hi
This is why I leave my recordings as ts files. Only programs that have both a ts file and an xml file are kept within the recordings database in MP1.
I move my files (ts and xml together) from the recordings folder to my TV Series folder, and then I remove them from the database and reimport them via tv server config/recordings. This way I can have recordings appearing in TV Series and also remaining in the recordings database.
From what I have seen, MP2 will have a more integral method of storing programs. So when huha has finished MP2 TVWishList v1.0 (;) ) we might be able to use DVDs and TV recordings in any location to filter the epg data.

    melmak21,
I assume "Herstellungsland='DDR'" is part of your EPG program description, so you can use it as a match type for partial text.
Aternatively you can also use sql expressions in search for and use expression as a match type. Check the manual for some examples.
I am in contact with Scrounger and we are working on a direct transfer with the "pog" button from the clickfinder plugin. This will be supported in the next test version of tvwishlist. Hope i didn't tell too much ;).

On your second item i would use the "skip deleted" feature for storing the information. I am storing deleted files in messages and even if the tvserver does not keep the recording entry, tvwishlist still does have the message. This feature has not been used a lot and may need some more debug and work. You need to set the expiration date for deleted messages to a high value and enable "Skip Deleted". If you do that you can only use the description as a matching parameter for the episode criteria, because your EPG data do not have it right up front during the EPG search of Tvwishlist. My long term vision is to look for episode and series data in Tvwishlist before the EPG search for each wish, but this will need more time.

foxbenw, i just had a breakthrough with Albert´s help on the "Pog" button in MP2, so things are moving on very nicely. The MP2 plugin works quite stable with the latest version, so you can try.

    Thank you for your answer.
I'll try both, partial text & expression and skip deleted. If this works, i'll give a feedback here!

With expression it does'nt works, partial text works, in my case must it be "Aus: DDR", perfect! Thats what i want. :)

If i select "Skip deleted" and "Deleted expiration" "24 Month" and after this i delete a schedule in MediaPortal -->TV --> Schedules? (geplante Aufnahmen), after this i run TVWishList-Search... (in MediaPortalGUI and TVServerConfiguration) nothing happens -- Always the deleted schedule will be marked as a new schedule, what do i wrong?:(

    melmak21,
this works only on already recorded programs, not on deleted schedules. If you have recorded from a schedule and are deleting your file (for conversion into another format) TvWishList will store a message that you have deleted the recorded file and not schedule again if the "Skip Deleted" option is set.

    TestVersion 1.2.3.8 Released

I have released a new test version which includes major changes:

    – new: search EPG x minutes before each schedule and run a script C:\ProgramData\Team
    MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TvWishList\RunBeforeEachSchedule.bat before
    checking the EPG
    – new: language translation for Tv server (message creation , SetupTV) and MP plugin
    configuration)
    – installer updated
    – MP2 plugin bug fixes in case of occuring error scenarios
    – new: Pog button processing extended for sql expressions and Name parameters
    – Tv server bug fixes for error scenarios

The language translation for the Tv server turned out to become a larger change than anticipated. I need help on testing here.
Now you can select in the Tv server configuration a language file. I will put the new language files after my vacation on Transiflex.
    The language translation now works
    - for Tv server messages
    - for Tv server setup
    - MP1 configuration
(MP1 and MP2 had language translations already)
-Client setting save/Load from Tvserver to exchange data between any MP1 and MP2 clients

Srounger, this version includes now also the skin API for SQl expressions. i tested with a skin parameter on the TV EPG using
    eq(#currentmoduleid,'600'), 'NEWTVWISH//EXPRESSION=( title like \'#TV.Guide.Title\' )\n( title like \'#TV.Guide.Title\' )//SERIESNUMBER=#TV.Guide.Episode//NAME=#TV.Guide.Title'
so you can use this in a skin to generate a new wish. The first expression is used to search in schedules, the second one for existing recordings. Please let me know how it goes. Check the manual for more details.

This version includes the option to check the EPG x minutes before a schedule and a script RunBeforeEachSchedule.bat in the Tv user data folder will be run before the checking if it exists.

PatClark, i understand what you are doing from your language file, but need more time to think about it.

I will be out the next 3 weeks, but will follow up after my return. I hope to get this version stable for the next official release with your help afterwards.

    happy testing,
    huha

Update: i forgot about saving/storing MP1 or Mp2 client settings on the Tv server. One set of client configuration data can now be stored on the tv server and used to distribute it to different clients (MP1 or MP2). This works from the Main configuration in the MP1 or MP2 client.
