TV Server service crashes when stopping live TV or changing a channel, but why? (1 Viewer)

    Hi @Sameritan you have to disable the logging of the IPTV part:

    In addition to disabling plugins as previously described, you could try changing the log level to 0 (none) in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\MPIPTVSource.ini.

    Thanks for your reply.I saw some post about changing Log level a while ago.

    It did not help. No anti virus is scanning it anyway. I added it to exception from anti virus scan.
    Is it what you mean by that i have to disable the logging of the IPTV part?
    Today i deleted MPIPTVSource.log in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortalTVServerLogMPIPTVSource.log
    But TVservice.exe recreated it.
    Or perhaps MP IS made not to zap as normal as what we are use to.
    My first experince whit MP. Started with PM 1.18

    I think, if it is recreated, that it still logs into the file?

    I will appreciate if you can help me with this issue.

    Ignore it. The file can be created and empty.

    It seems that you have assumed that the only reason for slow channel changes is the IPTV source filter log level. Such an assumption would be wrong.

    The log shows that TV Server usually changes channel within ~1.5:

    So, the delay is not with TV Server or the IPTV source.
    You should start by configuring your codec settings. :rolleyes:
