Sometimes the TVServer panel stops responding when I click the button to stop the TV service and the TV service has been running for a few hours. Screenshot enclosed. I usually do this before uninstalling the software for a new SVN. No clients are running at the time.

This doesn't help with you problem, but is your iSCSI setup working well? I'm considering moving all of my storage to a linux iSCSI target (OpenFiler). Are you using NICs with TOE? Thanks.

iSCSI worked, but I did experience occasional stutters. I don’t believe the stutters were down to the iSCSI link since they also occurred using a local hard drive. I was using standard 1Gb network cards in both the server and client and each was dedicated to just carrying data for this purpose. A second 1Gb card carried the traffic to the client. Overkill for this, but I had them available. BTW the iSCSI target was an old dual Pentium II with three USB2 drives in RAID 5 for video. It runs Centos as it's also my general file and mail server.

I used the past tense as a recent power cut and failure of a UPS took the array out and I haven't brought it back up again yet. I only play MediaPortal as we use a PVR called Sky Plus for mainstream TV and I won't be able to convert the family over until there is something comparable in ease of use.
