TV-Server Version: RC4
MediaPortal Version: RC4

My HTPC sometimes has a network connection, sometimes it doesn't. I have a crappy WiFi USB stick, but since that thing looses connection 4 times a day I usually don't use it, but temporarily use a network cable when I need to do any network stuff. However, the cable is not always connected, so sometimes the HTPC is without any network connection. I have a single seat setup, TV Service and MP running together on the same PC.
Problems:
The name of the PC = HTPC-01 (I've got room for 99 more ;-)
When the WiFi US is active it's assigned an IP address. HTPC-01 = WiFi IP.
TV-Service and MP communicate using the name HTPC-01.
When the USB thing fails and disconnects itself MP can no longer see TV-service: No more TV.
To get around this I've changed the server name in the SQL Server db from HTPC-01 to localhost. No more trouble with disconnecting network USB (or cable).
New problem (new since RC4?): When I now restart the PC TV Service won't start. I think it's because it assumes it's own name is HTPC-01, it connects to the SQL db and finds a server named localhost. It then reports:
[TVService]: Controller: sorry, master/slave server setups are not supported. Since there is already another server in the db, we exit here.
Would make sense if there actually was another server, but ofcourse in this case there isn't (allthough I can understand why TV Service doesn't recognise this)
Question:
Can I tell MP and TV-Service that everybody should use localhost at all times, completely disregard the PC's name and network connections?
