Hey everyone,

I installed a MediaPort Server/Client on one PC and a Client on a second PC.
Watching TV on the first PC is no Problem at all, but watching PC from the Client doesn't work.
It says there are no free TV Cards although in the Server both TV-Tuners are idle.
But listening to Radio on the Client via my TV-Tuner is possible.
I have no idea what I can do to get TV via the Client working.
There are no helpful logs for this, so I can't add any.

Regards,

    Hello again

There are no helpful logs for this, so I can't add any.
    Why do you say that?
The server logs should tell us why the server is reporting that there are no free cards available, so please post those log files.

    Regards,
    mm

The Problem is, that the Client doesn't properly connect to the Server.

From what you've described I have the impression that on the non-working client you are starting MediaPortal, going to the TV section, selecting a channel, and then getting the "no free cards" message. That message is returned by the server when it thinks all tuners are occupied. If the client weren't connected to the server then it wouldn't even get the message.

Even if my understanding is incorrect, please trust me and post the logs from the server. Ideally also post the logs from the client showing an attempt to view TV.
