Good day,

I have a slightly weird problem.
I run a multi-seat configuration with my laptop (Sony Vaio F13) being configured as a single-seat PC (server and client). In addition I have a client (Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook E Series). Now the problem is the following: As long as the Mediaportal client application runs on my Vaio, recording and watching TV works just fine.
When I close the client application, I encounter a lot of dropouts, blocks, etc. And this happens via stream (Lifebook) as well as in a recorded file.
As soon as I start the application again, the quality is just as good as before!

I tried already some tweaks like manipulating the process priority of the TV-Server or changing the codecs - it had no effect. The only thing that made a difference was tweaking the EPG grabbing settings. When I disabled the EPG grabbing while recording, the recording just blanked out completely...

Does anyone has an idea? I found no tips in the forum.

Thanks, Maximilian
