TV on my system starts to stutter after watching it for an hour. This doesn't happen while watching XVID movies, havent tried DVD. If you turn off the TV and turn it back on immediately, the TV will be fine for another hour, leading me to beleive it isn't a problem with the graphics card overheating. Anyone have any idea why this might be occuring? It's really annoying to have to turn off the TV when in the middle of watching a film/show. Otherwise, everything else works great - a fantastic product!

I would check what your timeshift buffer is set at, my guess is one hour and it is having issues trying to roll the timeshift file once full. I have experienced this issue a long time ago but have no idea what I did to fix it, sorry.

I have attached the logs. The TV started skipping a few minutes before I took the logs, but not as bad as it has in the past (although still bad enough to not be able to watch TV). I think if I left it longer the skipping would become worse.

i have the same problems with latest SVN. It happens after about an hour indeed. And i also have timeshifting disabled. I made a Bug report in the Quality Assurance forum. I dont have the above logs added in there because i have an out of sync problem too.

Do you mean audio gets out of sync with the video while watching TV sometimes? I get that as well, I have tried using the various audio codecs (MPA, ffdshow, Leadtek) but they all seem to get the same problem every now and then. Not sure if this is a related problem though.

Yes indeed audio gets out of sync with video. i also tried several codecs/filters but nothing seems to work. Especially after zapping a couple of channels and/or having Mediaportal not focused (in windowed mode without always on top) this is getting really annoying. I'm using a hauppauge 150 PVR MCE tv card and you (broadscott) don't so i think the problem is in MediaPortal itself. I still love MP though it's one of the best apps on the internet imho

Does this mainly happen in windowed mode, saying this as i get it occassionally when running other tasks.

But in fullscreen mode, do not have this occur.
