Firstly, apologies, no logs are attached. The explanation as to why is part of the problems I have been encountering-

Upgraded from MP 1.2.2 to 1.2.3 a few days ago. It was working perfectly before the upgrade. Now I have the following problems:

    1. Live TV plays for a few minutes, then freezes and stutters - alternating between a black screen and the frozen frame in rapid succession. Sometimes it restarts. It usually reoccurs again later, or sometimes brings about "MediaPortal Has Stopped Working Message". MediaPortal is now useless for watching TV until fixed.
    2. The same happens with videos and DVDs, so this function is also unusable.
    3. Bizarrely - the debug option failed to export logs when tried. The green progress bar got to about half way and then a dialog saying something about Microsoft Net Framework flashed and disappeared, leaving debug mode frozen. This is why no logs are attached to this post. If I succeed in getting some then I shall add them on later.

I have tried switching from ffdshow to LAV with no luck. Also tried copying the latest TSReader_no stop across with no luck. I have exhausted my own ideas and what I can find on the forums. Does anyone else have any ideas what to try?

You can find Logs in: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\logs

Please attach them and don't forget to set Log verbosity to "Debug" before in MP Config -> General

    Thanks! =)

Thank you - Using your instructions I have created the following logs. I closed MediaPortal just after a major stuttering episode while watching live TV. I have left log verbosity on Debug and will send further logs if I get a system crash.

There is a lot of action from MusicInfoHandler in the logs which might leads to stutter or even a freeze.
Can you disable it and test again?

    Thanks!

I have disabled MusicInfoHandler and am currently testing.

While I test and generate the new logs with MusicInfoHandler disabled, you may be interested in the attached error message that I have generated prior to disabling MusicInfoHandler.

Yes, sorry I didn't want to inundate you with lots of different log files. Here they are attached with a copy of the error message again.

I am testing with MusicInfoHandler disabled at the moment. It doesn't seem to have made any difference - logs to follow when testing finished. Thanks.

There seems to be a problem with your TVServer. (TVPlugin)
Can you try to install it again ->

You will find the individual installers in

    C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Temp\MediaPortal Installation\deploy

    where 'yourusername' is ........

    There you will find:
    package-mediaportal.exe
    package-tvengine.exe

Click on package-tvengine.exe to install it.

Also BBCWeather throughs an error. Maybe you can try to disable it.

....and stop TvService from running before you re-install it - use TV server config -> manual control to do this, or type 'net stop tvservice' in a command prompt window (with admin priviledges).
