I use the regular one from the hauppauge homepage (german), called "The driver on Cd 2.2"

I think you are using another one, perhaps you could tell me where you obtained this driver, as I don't see any beta driver in the mce section on the hauppauge page.

Take this driver: 23237_inf.zip


And do not forget to run Hauupauge HWCLEAR.exe after the deinstallation of the driver and reboot.


Have you installed all this? .NET 1.1, .NET 1.1 SP1 and .NET 2?
And the recommanded updates ? Frodos Tips

Fine!!!

Now it works, after installing the new driver. I also reinstalled the patches recommended by frodo, only to be sure.

At last it isn't necessary to run the channel search directly after installing RC1, you can do it after copying the latest CVS as well.
