Well I tried changing codec in the 11-03 SVN version under Television settings, but it ignored it.

On install did you allow the MPV\Gabest codecs to be installed, only asking because i had issues with these installed. they seemed to override whichever codec i selected, so had to uninstall MP, then reinstall without these codecs and everything worked fine.

I use PowerDVD7 for TV\Movies wondering if that may be effecting your setup.

I haven't installed the MPV etc codecs for a long time now. It might be the Microsoft MPEG-2 codec that overrides it in that case, but that doesn't happen in elsewhere (other than in MP).

ffdshow is on the blacklist for TSReader, since it was causing lots of troubles. so it is not possible to use TSReader+ffdshow at the moment.

Really??? Very problematic... How to upscale resolution for HDTV without FFDSHOW?!?! And the only way to have good black level is to use the ffdshow level filter...

The problem is between ffdshow MPEG2 codec and TS filter OR ffdshow raw video filter and TS Filter?

Finaly each time I found a solution another problem come...

I also agree with phunqe, I've tried the codec used by the TV is the codec listed by movie.... Problematic because I use FFDShiw video filter for movie/divx and powerDVD codec for TV...
