Re: TV3Blaster Setup - "None" for blaster port?

What the heck????

I uninstalled IRSS and rebooted the computer. I then reinstalled IRSS - same issue, "None" listed for Blaster ports in the TV3Blaster STB setup.

I checked the services list, and I see that I had manually disabled everything VMC related. I enabled them all again and rebooted.

I uninstalled IRSS and reinstalled IRSS without a reboot. Port 1 and Port 2 are listed for blaster ports.
-Selecting "both" sucessfully blasts IR comands two both my IR blaster bugs
-Selecting "Port 1" DOES NOT blast any IR commands
-Selecting "Port 2" successfully blasts IR commands to one of my IR bugs.

I even swapped the IR bugs around on port 1 and port 2 just to be sure, even tho they worked when "both" was selected. I cannot select "port 1" and blast commands.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have the same thing happening after MONTHS of things working perfectly fine!?

Danny, this thread is 4 years old and DigitalFusio hasn't visited the forum since writing these posts. I would have recommended starting a new thread...

In any case, I think Clinton took the words right out of my mouth:
Someone might be able to help if you post the IRSS log files.

    Please post your log files.

The logs have nothing of significance in them, unless I am missing an option to make them more verbose.
(I thought I would post here because this is the EXACT same problem I am having)

Okay - if you say so. The thing is that there is nothing else to go on other than log files. I can only suggest to try to confirm the blaster is still functional in other software.
