Hello,
I see the odd bit about TVE3.5 here and there, mainly that it is still under development and will be part of MP2, but I was wondering what it is actually going to do/how it will be better than the current TV server? Is it a big improvement, or mainly minor ones?
Also, are there plans to develop the recording scheduling to work in a similar manner to Argus TV? I like the options available (e.g. keep 10 recordings) and the fact that I can do it all through a web interface, see skipped recordings etc. As good as Argus is, I HATE having to have another layer of complexity running just to schedule recordings (and I also hate how it auto creates channels if there is an EPG channel). When I'm in work and I happen to see an advert for a program on the TV, I like being able to jump on my phone and set it up from there.
Thanks for all the work, and am looking forward to early next year for the MP2 release date.
