TVGemist plugin (2 Viewers)

Hi, First I want to thank you for making such a great plugin.
But I want to know if it is really updating the RTL series.
For instance when I want to watch a GTST emission I can't find the ones from last week.
I know I can't find them on date, but I tried them all.

i discovered there is a difference when using enter or double clicking (at least with my remote in tvgemist plugin only)

when using enter it does show a different episode then when double clicking on it
i also could not find the latest episodes and when using enter i always got the one last seen.
When double clicking i got the last new one

When using the plugin Video background auto switcher, for displaying running video/tv/etc fullscreen on the background, you get a black background with this fantastic plugin.
Can something be done to make it work with this plugin?

kkendall: I don't think so, this is an issue with the MP video player, not of the plugin.
Raytestrak: there is an action PREVIOUS_MENU in MP. Invoking that action should enable you to go back in the navigation. (if not, it's a bug )

Regarding the RTL emissions not showing up... is probably because rtl screwed up their nice xml backend. Older emissions were nicely listed in an xml file listing all programs available, but they didn't include new programs (probably also the cause of the missing gtst emissions).

The plugin therefore reads a certain javascript file containing most newer programs and it then tries to find the xml information of that program. Here is when things go wrong..and I don't think I can create a workaround/better fix for this

Then it's a bug. I've noticed that in the favorites it works okay, but in 'Programma's', PREVIOUS_MENU for the exact same show actually means MAIN_MENU

Hi Michel,

Which remote are you using ? With my remote (Mce) I cannot double click and also when I double click with my mouse I get to see older episodes. The strange thing is when I click on the same episode it changes 2 times from episode, like there are two streams behind one "line".

I use this marvellous plug-in for so long and I enjoy it very much, but there is one little thing.

If you have watched a program and the stream ends you get a black screen and you have to hit the stop button to return to the plug-in screen. If you don't hit the stop button the PC isn't going to stand-by.

Is there a declaration for this behaviour? Is there a solution or is this a sort of change request?

RTLGemist list not complete

It seems that not all programs are always listed. Some times programs (like: "Het moment van de waarheid" and "Expeditie Robinson") are not available from the list. During the evening the programs are normaly mostly NOT listed). At the moment (GMT+1 13:44) the programs are available.

Do you know why that is? At fist i thought it was because of a website refresh, but when is go to the website the programs are available.

Hi,
I did report an issue some weeks ago with the "Uitzending gemist" plugin not playing NED 1, 2 and 3 programs. I've updated Mediaportal to v1.0RC3 and now this issue is resolved, plugin works fine. Great work!
Still some requests... as also observed by some other forum members;
- Titles of broadcasts in e.g. Eigen huis en tuin on RTL are all the same. No date identifier or anything is provided
- Going up and down the menu tree is not always consistent, specially going up sometimes you fall back to the home screen of the plug-in rather than the next higher lever.
- Sometimes recent programs do not show up while they are available via e.g. internet explorer.
