TVSeries Crashes on Configuration-Help! (1 Viewer)

Please help! I was running MP with TVSeries fine for several weeks. Then bam, it died. So I have completely uninstalled MP and TVSeries, rebooted, reinstalled MP 1.0.0.0 RC1 amd MP-TVSeries Version: 2.0.0.0 (dll version).

Now when I run MP Configuration > Plugins > TVSeries > Configuration, it crashes with the attached error message. I've tried several times to uninstall, delete DB, reinstall, etc, and it crashes everytime I try to configure it.

My computer is a
AMD 9500 Quad Core, 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8400

I really miss my MP-TVSeries, please help.

I am getting the exact same problem
Out of the blue for no reason, no upgrades no changes.
In fact the PC has not been running for weeks
Today I start it up and bam.
Same error message.
I upgraded to the newest Mediaportal release and svn..no luck.
I hjave no clue whats up.

What happens if you start with no database (just backup existing and then delete).

Mine kept crashing no matter what I did. So I ended up formatting the drive and reinstalling Vista-32. That took care of the problem. It is now working fine. Sorry, I trashed my DB in the formatting.

Sounds like torrent search setup expects at least one entry from the db and tries to set the selectedindex to 0 in the combobox which fails if there are no entries coming from the db at all.

What I'd like to know is if this occured with the build incl. downloaders or with one without them, if the latter it means we probably missed some compiler ifs.

Should be fixed now, it was loading torrents and news presets when not using the incl. downloader version. I also added some #if so the News and Torrents are not added to the Extras tree in configuration.

Put in fix for crash when no presets are in database just in case as well.

Where does one either get the fix or how does one implement the fix.
My Tvseries is still crashing and I have no idea how to fix it, or frankly what you guys even said...lol..admiting it is the first step towards a cure..lol
