Tvseries importer question (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have a lot of series (70+)
I imported all of them.
I now have a new serie so i started the importer again,
he finds 1 new serie, i click next.

On the download screen he sais: identifieing episodes (.../73)
and reading meta data (.../2053)

Is he going through every serie and episode again?
I took 5 hours to import everything the first time.

No, just updates etc...it wont take that long every time

All that time would of been just downloading images.

Hi,

the downloading fanarts (that took longest) is already finished now
But he reading meta data is doing it for every episode.
It takes 3sec per episode it seems (and he goes through all episodes of all series)
Maybe he is updating info?

Shouldn't take very long at all, even with 70 series.

Couple minutes to to run an import on that I would say. Maybe you have debug logging enabled in tvseries configuration, if so change that to normal.

the imported was fast but that the reading meta data started for every episode.
Is that normal?
Or should it be very fast (maybe because it is on the network?)

Show me the logs please so I can better understand what your saying. If you can, point out in the logs that would be good.

Sounds like your talking about MediaInfo, and if your files are on the network then yes it does make a difference.

MediaInfo should only be collected once, but from your other thread it sounds like they were removed because of server going down.

That may be possible.
I just checked keep reference.
So maybe next import may be faster.
Ill check it out.
If i still have a problem i post the logs
