curious test results I think I need more time to analyse and set up reproducable test procedures. Currently I am running into different issue (even MP crash) and still cannot find a common origin. The only thing I can see is that it is related to viewing ZDF. Tomorrow I will be in US for some days and so I don't have the time to do more. Currently the finding is: Start TVService - Start MP - tune ARD-change to ZDF - change back to ARD - switch off TV - wait 5min - switch on TV: works fine ! BUT Start TVService - Start MP - tune ARD - change to ZDF - switch off TV - wait 5min - switch on TV: fails! (reproducable) What happens (this is irritating) is very different, from what I have seen earlier: When switching TV on, then TVServer starts timeshifting (for ZDF) but nothing happens in MP (TV LED =off). When I change channel in MP to ARD, then TVServer does timeshifting for ARD, but still MP does nothing. btw. in MP the active stream can be seen. Selecting the stream does not work - even if it is not ZDF. Possible ways to get it working again: 1. Restart TVServer or 2. Stop timeshifting in TVServer and navigate in MP to a channel that is not ZDF (did not test many) -> MP will show TV. or 3. Change channel in MP, stop timeshifting of that channel in TVServer, press TV on -> MP will show TV. That seems not to be related to TVServer. May be the unexpected/diffenrent results are caused by the disabling of all plugins and EPG and channel link check box, which I did before starting any tests. When I am back I will spend some more time for this - may be with the latest release then. Gregor
