I scheduled the record for a TV series as "daily at this time" with max 7 episodes.
The log says
---
24.06.2007 18:52:02 4 diskmanagement: recording Franklin - Eine Schildkröte erobert die Welt ended. typeaily max episodes:5
24.06.2007 18:52:02 4 diskmanagement: Delete episode TvDatabase.Channel Franklin - Eine Schildkröte erobert die Welt Dienstag, 19. Juni 2007 18:36:04
---

but on disk the file "Franklin - Eine Schildkröte erobert die Welt--2007-06-19-18_40.ts" still exists.

I tried several SVNs in the last months, but this issue was always occured.

in your log the file name is "...Schildkröte---" and your real file name is "...Schildkröte..."

maybe is charset problem.

this is possible, the other series I with which I have the same problem contains umlauts in it's name, too.
I will check this further with some series which does not contain umlauts in it's name.

Nevertheless if this occurs only with umlauts, this is still a bug from my point of view.

I can now confirm that the issue is NOT related to umlauts in the filename.
Here is one example from tv.log:
---
15.07.2007 18:42:08 7 diskmanagement: recording Clifford, der kleine rote Hund ended. type:Daily max episodes:5
15.07.2007 18:42:08 7 diskmanagement: Delete episode TvDatabase.Channel Clifford, der kleine rote Hund Sonntag, 8. Juli 2007 18:27:24
---

but the file
---
"Clifford, der kleine rote Hund-2007-07-08-18_15.ts"
---

still exists. As for every other series I have. The files are never removed automically.
