Ok, here we are with the problem: it's kinda simple, I can't even install TVServer!!
I've seen the thread which redirects to various guides/wikis but none of them were helpful.
The error the installer gives me, after having given the admin auth and after I think the bigger part of the installation is completed, is this:
Code:
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2869"

Hope someone can help, don't know what to do... :(

Did you not only given admin auth but also disabled UAC? Otherweise you can't install it.

It probably is a problem with the installer, maybe it got corrupted in the download. Have you tried downloading it again?

You could also try a different SVN build incase it is a problem with that build.

If you've tried all that, then I'm out of suggestions...

    Good luck,

Ah no I didn't disable UAC, didn't know it was needed nor I do know where the option is even if I've already heard of it creating problems with other apps. Could you tell me where is located the option to disable it? Can I enable it again after install without problems?
    Thanks!

    --edit--
How fast!! Didn't see last answer!
I thought it and so I've tried three different svn builds as I've written, and all do the same!! I hope the UAC method works...

    It worked, many thanks kiesow!!
I think this should be in the wikis, shouldn't it?

    For any MSI package:

    1. Right mouse click the package, select "Create Shortcut".
    2. Right mouse click the shortcut, select "Properties".
    3. In the "Shortcut" tab -> "Target" box, insert "msiexec /i " to the beginning of the text (space after "/i").
    4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
    5. Right mouse click the shortcut, select "Run as Administrator".

This way, you do not have to turn off UAC.

Had tried this workaround by a batch file which called msiexec /i with no luck(invalid package error:confused: ), thanks for this!!

For the wikis, didn't know I could do it sincerely! In these days my connections goes up and down continuously, I'll surely add this tip by whurlston as soon as I found two minutes of usable connection (as now when I'm writing) :D
