Hello team.
I have a strange problem in a last few days. Here is the story.
I am using RC1 singleseat installation from the day one it was released without SVN installed. System would go to Suspend to RAM and wake up for recordings and when I wanted to watch TV.
The system was working brilliant for me untill I decided to install MPClient on one of my other PCs few days ago. Then I downloaded and installed RC1 package on my another PC in an attempt to watch TV and recordings there. Installation went alright.
During my main PC installation (where the server is running) I ticked the option to configure firewall and when I check the firewall it does have TVserver in the exemption list.
Now back to my client PC. After the installation when I fire up MyTv (the server address was specified) I can see the EPG data from the server and all channels list. The problem was the TV won't turn on and MP hangs, stops responding. According to the logs I don't have authority to use the service. Well, it is firewall issue most likely, but it doesn't bother me much at this stage. I am happy to use just the singleseat system.
That's where the problem started. After my failed attempt, my server PC on wake up from standby no longer has TVService running  . If I close mediaportal and start the service manualy, everything works as before. I can simply restart my PC and the service will start then. But not after wake up.
In case people ask me a question I have auto start configured for the TVServer.
Well I don't know what happened to my system, the only change I had was the client installation.
In the TVServer configuration I have TVServer re-initialise on wake up enabled as well. I have MST installed with Stop and Restart option for Mediaportal (I didn't change there anything).
So what could be the reason for the problem and most important what can I do to fix it. If TVServer doesn't start on wakeup I cannot use record scheduler at all. It will not work.

In Services.msc - TV Servcice - Recovery, did you select "Always restart service" ?
Inmho this should be changed default during installation of MP.

Thank you for your suggestion. I just tried it without much luck :(
The default was No Action and I changed to Restart (for first two attempts).
The thing is when I restart it manually it starts up without any problems. The same when I restart computer.
The only problem is on PC wake up.
What else can be done there. As a last resort I will reinstall MP from scratch. My worry is something happened with the system settings and the problem will stay with me untill I reinstall windows.

My guess is TVService is being told to stop prior to standby, and then there is no way it can start once resumed without instruction.

This possibly might be caused by the sql database, MST or windows itself.

Can you repeat the event and post the logs.

    Thanks.

I think I fixed the problem by uninstalling MP from my client PC  .
Sorry, I didn't get to capture logs just for the wake up even with the problem. I have a log from yesterday, but I don't remember if it was created after one of the MP crashes. I forgot to mention earlier that apart of the wake up problem I had an increased amount of crashes. So I post the file anyway it might give a good idea of what was happening there.
I also think the problem was due to me not installing my main PC with TVServer correctly in a first place. I don't remember if during installation there is an option for singleseat only. If there is I would most likely selected it not intending at the time to use clients on remote PCs.
Thank you for your replies and if you can see the problem in my logs please let me know. I am very interested to know now what caused all these headaches.
