Hi all,

I fell a bit like an idiot, but I don't *think* I'm doing anything wrong. Ok - so I'm trying out the webradio module in tvserver, I click on radio channels, add, webstream, search Shoutcast. I enter a search string (ie: 80s channel) and a little thing pops up saying please wait then goes away leaving the list box above empty. I know that a channel with that name in it exists (if you go to shoutcasts home page, it's right there on the main page). What am I doing wrong??

No Reponses?? I've asked 3 different questions on the forums overall, none too hard I'd think, but it seems that I can't get anyone to respond to me. Isn't there anyone that might be able to lend a hand in how to fix my problem here??

Hi Tancor!
Neither I can retrieve the web channels using the search Shoutcast functionality. I think that the search Shoutcast is broken, maybe the Shoutcast site has changed something. However you can add the web radio manually.
Search the radio you want directly on the shoutcast site, save the "tune-in" file in a known position, open the saved file with WordPad and than you have the site path of the web-radio.

Hi Samo_yea,

Thanks for posting! I had been away from the boards for a few days, but I'm glad I checked everything today - thanks for the tip, I didn't know I could do that - I'll have to try it out! A little more time consuming then just being able to search direct, but heck if it works, I don't care =D

:D
