TVServer3 Deletes All Channels at PC Restart (1 Viewer)

After scanning analog channels from a Hauppauge WinTV 980 in TVServer3, it finds a bunch of channels and they play in MP.

But if I restart the computer, all channels are gone:-( I have to scan again, then it works, until the next restart.

(also, since I got the analog WinTV to work, TVServer3 doesn't find any digital channels on my HDHomeRun, and crashes at most scans on HDHomeRun.)

Don't know if this helps, but I deleted the TVServer log (in C:/Program Data/MediaPortal TV Server/log) and rescanned anew the analog channels. Then I restarted and after restart, they had disappeared. Here is the resulting log file.

P.S. Also, I had uninstalled HDHomeRun, just in case it was causing this problem. As you can see, the problem persists:-(

Is this working for everyone else?

I've reinstalled MP and TVServer, but the channels keep disappearing after each restart.

looks like you can´t connect to SQLServer at startup...see your error.log

make sure SQLServer autostarts automatically (check in services.msc)
aswell as SQLWriter and SQLBrowser

Normally the TVService starts an instance of sqlexpress, I think here is your problem.



You can try to delete:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\TVLibrary.mdf"
and
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\TVLibrary_Log.LDF"
and then rescan.

Maybe this helps


Have you ever exported your channels ? I know this only saves time but is no solution.

Thanks again. I deleted those, installed the latest TVServer3 SVN and deselected the digital portion of the tuner. Now it keeps the channels

But, I am getting "No Audio/Video." Argh....
