I tried the patch (on a 1.2.0 beta build) - it doesn't appear to update the channel information when the OSD (Y) or mini EPG (Enter) overlays are opened for the first time after starting TV (it shows the old channel info). Open the overlay again and it shows the current (correct) channel info.

Sorry I can't test as my very limited facilities don't allow for compiling Mp etc.

If someone can point me to good tutorial on this I can proceed over the weekend.

I am looking through the patch forum for clues.

OR if someone can upload the specific files (if possible!) for me to test.

Hi SciDoctor, it must be tested on SVN not on 1.2.0Beta. We can supply bin but it's for SVN.
    Thanks.

    Hello!
Could you supply a bin in this thread? Would be fine for me to test. =)

For SVN yes :) but i'm not sure if it can work on 1.2.0Beta.

    Hey :)
    This is the binaries :p
I have a question, if you build SVN, why did you not apply the patch ? :)
    Thanks.

I use this on my main system and I'm not really familiar with .patch files. I'm on SVN 1.1.7.28100. Your version has got .28109 tag. You think this works?
    Thank you very much!

I have tested your patch with next procedure:
    1. clear all logs
    2. start performance monitoring
    3. start TV service
    4. start MediaPortal
    5. stay a while in MP main screen
    6. switch to MP TV home screen
    7. stay a while in MP TV home screen
    8. started recording
    9. stopped recording
    10. stay a while in MP TV home screen
    11. switch to MP main screen
    12. stay a while in MP main screen
    13. close MP
    14. stop TV service
    15. stop performance monitoring
    16. compress all logs

As you can see from attached screenshots, no big difference between no patched and patched version.
