Hi @ all,

after installation of the new RC3 i started tv server config and config my tv-cards (disable epg grabbing) and after that i tried to go to another section (e.q. tv-channels to import my old channel settings)...but setuptv.exe hangs and in taskmanager i noticed that the tvservice.exe stop working...
After looking around in the forum i deleted the vista firewall entrys for tv-server, but nothing changed :(

The second problem that occoured is that when i try to start mp (after starting tvservice and without chang anything in tv-server config) mp freezes and didn't load...
after kill mediaportal.exe and try to start again, mp-watchdog collect the logs attached.

I've attached the logs...the error.log is for the problem for tvsdervice.exe (also again after clean reinstall) and the zip is for the problem where mp crashes.

Has anybody an idea for my problems?
I've also tried reinstall, but same problem occours

Thanks in advance for help...

Greets,
Sven

I can not reproduce any of the issues you reported.

But if the TV-Server does not respond to the calls from MediaPortal while starting, then MediaPortal will not respond for some time until the timeout is reached.
This happens during the splashscreen phase.
