I have a 24/7 TvServer/Client combo + a separate Client

My problem is that the TvService.exe is terminated after about 8 hours even if it is newer used. I have had this problem for a long time so I don't remember if it has ever worked. It's quite annoying to have to restart the service every day. I hope we can find a solution.

Here are the TV server log files + a entry from windows event viewer from the point the tvservice was terminated. Let me know if there is still some info missing to resolve this problem.

Regards / Tomas

So nobody knows how to resolve this?.?

A friend att work tried to give me a temporery solution by making a smal vb program that checks the taskmanager if "TvService.exe" is runing and if it is not it would start it up. The problem with the vb program is that we were gona run the "TvService.exe" to start it up but soon found out that this cant be done.

I would need a simple comand that can start the TvService.exe from command line. Anybody can help me with that?

Regards / Tomas

    Hi,
TV Service can restart by it self.
Set it in Services -> TV Service & properties (I only have this in Norwegian language so dunno in English ;) )
After 1. failure, 2. failure etc & set it to "start again".

    Regards

    Try a recent SVN.
There is something in the changelog about it:
14/03/2007 [12:27h] _Frodo_ added: mhw -epg problems
So should try a SVN revision >=13413

    That would be fine.
Otherwise we will never find bugs

There seems to be a problem with epg grabbing.
I am looking into this at the moment to get Dish/Bev epg grabbing working.
    Trying fix this issue also.
