Hi,

This is probably straightforward, but I can't find a solution anywhere.
TVService is not starting at boot time.
Is this a known bug, or am I missing something?
I can't find a setting in TVE3 that says start TVService with windows and I can't see any way in managementconsole\services to tell it to start with windows.

Can some kind person set me straight ;)

If you find the tvservice in the services management console, and make sure it is set to startup type "Automatic", it should start automatic during windows start up.

    Hi defcon5

How's the sunny med, i use avg free with vista's firewall (also tried ZA and Avast free) and no problem.

Always worries me when 2 lots of antivirus software are mentioned in one sentence though (hopefully only one installed).

Only a thought, download "WinPatrol" and add TVService to it's delayed startup function, see if that makes a difference to whether it will run with various AV.

    Regards from cool uk

Thanks Paranoid, but don´t worry... I have only installed a one antivirus.
This afternoon I´ve tested NOD32 and I can start tvservice with windows boot.

I take your advice with winpatrol

Thanks a lot and good luck

    Cheers
