Hi there, I was wondering if any one could help me... I had made an amazing setup for my media machine and decided to ghost the drive and build an identical one for my brother. Ghost worked fine, installed the new Windows Key and everything seemed fine.. Until I ventured into "TV Server Configuration"... First thing I noticed what that the system would display two cards that were not there, so I would then delete them. Nothing..

So I then deleted all drivers... Still appear...

So then remove TV-Server all together... Go to scan channels.. Crash

Basically no matter what I remove and re-install, I just get the same crashing when scanning for channels. Heres a log if this helps any one... At the beginning it talk about "Error Database Unavailable"

Thanks, and sorry for being such a newbie with the whole bug reporting...

It sounds like you have changed the name of the computer after you ghosted it.
This would cause the SQL database error as SQL would still be using the old name.
You have 3 options.

1. Remove sql or mysql Database software from your computer and reinstall tv server

2. Rename the database server to the new computer name.

3. Rename the computer back to it's original name.

Hope this helps.

Thanks... Did you look through the Log to come to that conclusion, because I wouldn't take my own word on it.. But yeah that is what I'm doing now... Giving it a try... But as I said it was a clean GHOST image, no changes what so ever.. Damm my internet is capped, I've been waiting for ever to get it downloaded..

Oh is there a direct link for the specific SQL application that MediaPortal requires, tryed getting SQL from Download.com and the version I installed MediaPortal stayed blind to. Thanks again..
