Twinhan DVB-C, problem with detecting in MP (1 Viewer)

2033 and Jyvaskyla

Just a little bit off topic or not but here some info if u live in Jyvaskyla Finland.
Use symbolrate 6900 instead of 6875 and QAM is of course 128.

Card works like a charm mainly but DVB subtitles is one issue that I need.
Is here any solution about it?

Have Twinhan DVB-C 2033 tuner. Driver 1.0.1.6 BDA. MP rc4

I used the code from MCMatrix in CaptureCardDefinitions.xlm and I can detect my Twinhan DVB-C 2033 tuner. Can even detect all channels. BUT I can only see FTA channels. With the "pay" channels I get a blank. On full screen I get "no signal detected".
I do get the EPG info.

On TwinhanDTV I sometimes get a blank as wel on the pay channels,, but when I do timeshift and get back on real time play the screen shows the channel perfectly. Even with a blank I can record. And with playback there is something recorded.
With MP recording blank I get just a blank screen.


My Mediaportal log: (Nederland 1 is FTA channel, Nederland 2 is "pay"channel

Found the same error as i have in your logfile:

- 11-6-2006 12:55:31 SetStructure() failed 0x8007001F

so the 2033 mantis works 100% with MP apart from the CI?

gonna change my TT c-1500 for another card and this is one of the choices, if it works 100% for nonscrambled channels

im seriously gonna cry soon

i installed this and the new 1.0.2.4 or whatever bda drivers

and i get no signal
in ANY program

autotune doesnt work
inserting the channels manually doesnt work

got it to work with the FTA channels not encoded using the 1.024 bda driver and have aded some lines in the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml to make MP find the card. can auto tune channels in sweden but no scrambled probably i got a bad cam goin to change it and will update u.

Found the same error as i have in your logfile:
- 11-6-2006 12:55:31 Twinhan: send PMT cam:default 0 len:47 video:0x19B audio:0x19C
- 11-6-2006 12:55:31 SetStructure() failed 0x8007001F

This Error is because MP uses the "207"er Api Command fo transmitting the PMT to the cam. The driver does not understand this old command.
Thats why the error occurs.
